TESTIMONIALS
this is the most important section of our whole website - we hope you find it useful :

EVENTS of 80 to 250 GUESTS:

“I don’t actually know where to start as regards thanking you and the band for such a memorable evening. I have had so many cards from our guests thanking us for such a wonderful time, and they have all highlighted your band as the reason why they had sore feet for days! Their comments range from ‘fantastic band’ to ‘phenomenal band’ and that is from young & old alike. I loved the way they applauded you for an amazing Orcadian Strip the Willow and although I didn’t do the Virginia Reel myself, Darryl and I both stood with huge grins on our faces, watching the incredible sight. My daughter Siobhan says it was the best dance she had ever done! It was an absolute pleasure in dealing with you, all your correspondence was so helpful, informative & nothing was too much trouble for you, just brilliant for Kerry and me. I’m sure there are 230 people who will be talking about you all for some time to come” - Mairi McDiarmid, 26-6-09

LARGE EVENTS : 250 to 1000+ GUESTS:

Thinking of holding an event where the majority are CEILIDH NOVICES or NON-SCOTS ?
Please read on for a testimonial of how we performed at an event that ticked all of those boxes :

Oman Caledonian Society (Muscat)
“With A WHISKY KISS you can book the band and be assured it will be a successful night - we won’t have to worry about how the evening will go, we don’t need to keep in constant contact, these guys know what they are doing, how to pitch the ceilidh appropriately to all the guests, so we can relax - we know our event’s in the safest of hands, great music, & the calling of the dances is really lively. Everybody was up dancing all night, and we’ve booked them again for 2009”

20 to 80 GUESTS ? HOLDING A MORE INTIMATE EVENT ?

“What can we say!!! What a weekend. A major part of it being such a great time was the ceilidh and whole reception. All the guests and us haven’t stopped speaking about it and we’re 2 months on!! A WHISKY KISS made it a tremendous night with everyone up on the dance floor for every dance! Honestly, Iain, we were over the moon and thought it finished off the celebrations of the big day superbly. We can’t thank you all enough. Please be sure to pass on our thanks to the rest of the team. We’re still waxing lyrical to anyone who will listen and is looking for a ceilidh band.”
Eric & Liz Mitchell - wedding with 40 guests, Adanaseig, Argyll, 4-4-2009

He went on to say to us by email that: “Whisky Kiss added to the night and made it a huge success.  They went down well with an international audience”
